When was the school founded?
Our school was opened in September 1965, by the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

For the 2017-18 school year, we have 311 students.
How many classrooms do you have?
One classroom per grade (10), a math/science lab, library and learning support center.
What is the curriculum?
Current materials and strategies in all areas including religion, language arts, mathematics, grades 5 through 8 advanced mathematics, social studies, science, technology, music, art, physical education and health.
What is a daily schedule like?
Morning Bell: 8:00 a.m.
Recess K - 4: 10:15-10.30 a.m.
Recess 5 - 8: 10:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m.
Lunch: 12:20 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
Dismissal: 3:00 p.m.
Minimum Day Dismissal: 12:20 p.m.
Do you offer extra-curricular activities?
Yes! Students can participate in Student Council, Academic Decathlon, After-School Sports (5-8), Talent Show, Band, Piano, Choir, Scouts, Art enrichment and Technology Club
Are your teachers credentialed?
All our teachers are fully credentialed in the State of California and provide staffing for ten classrooms, library, science program, advanced mathematics, learning support, music and physical education.
Do you offer extended day care?
Yes, we offer a vibrant and comprehensive program before school from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and after school from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for children registered in grades kindergarten through eighth grade at SNCS. Enrolled students have the opportunity to work on homework, play, be creative, and take lessons in chess, dance, soccer, etc. as enrichment classes (an extra fee) are offered throughout the year.
